A Level results 2021

Our Upper Sixth students have, once again, done them themselves proud with a spectacular set of results. They negotiated the requirements of the teacher-assessed process extremely well and 86% of the grades were A* or A. Of the cohort of 146 students, 39 were awarded straight A* grades. Particular congratulations to eight of them for achieving 5 A*s.

Percentage of A*-B grades – 95.9%

Percentage of A*/A grades – 86.4%

Trinity is committed to ensuring that all students choose the right path for them, so that they can fulfil their potential in every walk of life. This year – a very competitive year for entry – saw over 90% of our A Level cohort securing their first choice of institution for the next year, including degree apprenticeships, universities in the US, music conservatoires, and art foundation courses.

Well done, once again, to our GCSE cohort who rose to the challenges of the past two years and were rewarded with a set of enormously pleasing grades across the year group. A whopping 94% of all their grades were 9, 8 or 7. Out of the 136 students in the year group, 40 achieved nine or more 9 grades, and 119 students achieved a 9 grade in at least one of their subjects.

Percentage of A*-A/9-7 grades – 94.4%

GCSE results 2020
In 2020, at GCSE, over 80% of grades were 8 or 9 (A*), with over a third of students achieving a full set of these top grades, and 18 individuals achieving all 9s.
The announcement of the cancellation of all public examinations did not dampen students’ determination to succeed, and their results replicate the excellent standard that Trinity students consistently achieve, year after year.
