This week we welcomed 18 students and their teacher Mr Frankenhauser from our German exchange school, the Clara-Schumann Gymnasium in Bonn.
Students stayed with their Trinity exchange partners for a week and activities for the Germans involved the novelty of attending registrations and assembly (which don’t happen the same way in Germany) and then accompanying their exchange partner to his lessons and sampling food in the school canteen, as well as trips to London for a drama workshop at The Globe, and visiting Madame Tussaud’s and Covent Garden. Determined to throw themselves into all aspects of British life, they spent their final morning on an introduction to rugby session with Mr Reidy, which they all really enjoyed.
Our students are now looking forward to our return visit to Bonn in February.
