Nine Trinity students were selected to take part in the prestigious British Mathematical Olympiad.
After the success in the first round of the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge, this national competition is designed to stretch and challenge mathematical thinking at the highest level given the three hour exam style competition.
Congratulations to Varun Ravikumar and George Ogden for achieving Distinction awards. This achievement would most likely put both students in the top 500 nationally of the best mathematicians in the sixth form age range. What a phenomenal achievement!
Congratulations also goes to Sally Edser and Daniel Warren, who achieved Merit awards for their strong attempts at the extremely challenging mathematical problems presented to them.
