We recently enjoyed the first live classical guitar concert at Trinity School for some 18 months, says Mr Reck, Head of Guitar:
“The concert started with a wonderful performance of music by the Beatles and Shostakovich by our large classical guitar ensemble, Los Guitarristas. This was followed by some beautiful solos from our earlier stage players. The second half started with Trinity Guitar Quartet giving a rousing performance of Libertango by Astor Piazzolla. We then heard some very engaging playing from our advanced players. The evening culminated in an amazing performance by Joseph Jenkins of Sunburst by Andrew York.
“A technical tour de force! Well done to all those who played.”
