The 17-piece tour de force that is Britain’s most popular big band is back at Trinity! Featuring singers Jeff Hooper (BBC Big Band, Syd Lawrence Orchestra) and Nicola Emmanuelle (the West End’s Rat Pack), this promises to be an evening of toe-tapping to the most swinging music ever written.
In 2022 the LP Swing Orchestra enjoyed success with a number 1 in the iTunes Jazz Chart and a top-40 hit in the UK Singles Chart. Their shows “100 Years of Big Bands” and “A Swingin’ Christmas” (starring Mica Paris) wowed TV audiences on Sky Arts. In 2021 the orchestra performed the first ever live-streamed Big Band concert from the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
This year the band’s touring schedule includes dates at London’s Cadogan Hall, Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom and Soho Garden, Dubai.

The LP Swing Orchestra work with Trinity Big Band 1 in workshops throughout the year. The Trinity band will play a “support” set as well as joining forces with the LPSO to create a spectacular finalé.
