Talk for Sixth Form Students and their Parents: The Unbreakable Student

We will be hosting a talk by Dr Nic Hooper, an expert in clinical psychology and a senior lecturer at UWE Bristol on Tuesday 29th June 2021 from 6.30-7.30 p.m. via Zoom.

He is the author of “The Unbreakable Student – 6 Rules for Staying Safe at University”.  University is a whirlwind of exciting, fresh experiences. But it can also be overwhelming. You’re in a strange new environment and faced with the pressure to make friends, complete difficult assignments, stay healthy, manage your finances and so much more, all while being away from your loved ones. In this time of massive change, looking after your mental wellbeing is more important than ever.

Dr Hooper will be talking about his tips for wellbeing and will host a Q and A session at the end of his talk.

This talk is for Sixth Form students and their parents.

Sixth Form parents are asked to email Diana Jonesco at dxj@trinity.croydon.sch.uk to reserve their place.
