Parent Seminar: Online Safety (Webinar)

13 June 6.30- 8.00pm

Parent Seminar: Online Safety

Our parent seminar programme continues during the Summer Term, with a presentation taking place on the topic of ‘Online Safety’. The seminar will be delivered by Childnet on Tuesday 13th June 2023 from 6.30 pm until 8.00 pm via Zoom.

Childnet works in partnership with other organisations to help make the internet a great and safe place for children. At the heart of their work is the belief that, when used properly, the internet is a wonderfully positive tool for children and young people. They strive to take a balanced approach, making sure that they promote the positive opportunities, as well as responding to the risks, and helping children and young people to deal with them. This seminar aims to equip parents with practical advice and resources to help support their children in a digital age. Childnet will help to guide parents through risks such as grooming, bullying, fake news and sexting, whilst signposting them to invaluable tools for reporting, setting up parental controls and establishing a dialogue about online safety at home.

We would be delighted to welcome you to this seminar, which we hope will be interesting and informative. It is open to all Trinity School parents and there is no charge, but the events will be ticketed, and you can book your place by clicking on the link below.

Please feel free to contact Diana Jonesco at dxj@trinity.croydon.sch.uk if you have any queries about this seminar.

The webinar link will be shared on Monday 12th June.
