Commencing 31st January, it is Competition Week for the school’s musicians and it promises to be exciting, enjoyable and highly competitive! Parents, students and Trinity community are warmly invited to attend and support these events.
The highlight of the week is the Recital Class of this year’s Trinity Musician of the Year Competition on Monday 31st January in the Concert Hall. Winners of last term’s advanced competitions will be present short recitals alongside three wild card finalists. The recitals comprise of a variety of instruments and voice and the standard is expected to be extremely high! The competitors are Patrick Minton (Trombone and Voice), Tate Nicol (Flute), Joshua Albuqueque (Violin), Ming-Ho Cheung (Piano), Edward Warner (Piano), Joseph Jenkins (Guitar) and Aman de Silva (Voice). The adjudicator is Gerry Cornelius, Director of English Touring Opera.
