This week Trinity alumnus Andrew Newlands came to discuss Entrepreneurial Enterprise with our Sixth Form Economics students.

Andrew is the Managing Director of the Monty Bojangles Company. He gave a fantastic talk to a group of our Lower Sixth students about the challenges and opportunities of starting a new business.

He gave great insight into useful marketing strategies, emphasising the importance of social media to communicate your product and business mission to as many potential customers as possible.

He answered questions from our students, including how he came up with the concept of his own brand. Finally, he shed light on his experience as an advisor on hit BBC show The Apprentice, where he appeared in the final episode of the 2017 series as a market expert alongside Lord Alan Sugar.

Our students were buzzing afterwards, full of inspiration for their own business in the Young Enterprise Programme at school and, indeed, beyond!
