Junior Form boys recently travelled to Lee Valley Olympic Park to watch Great Britain take on Belgium in an anniversary international hockey game.
It was a great event with many schools in attendance. Our students really enjoyed the game, with many of them amazed at the aerials thrown from one end to the other.
Unfortunately GB narrowly lost to the 3rd ranked team in the world but students got to see some great goals and ending with 1v1 penalty shuffles. Following the trip a number of boys have now shown more interest in Hockey at school, attending indoor training and additional outdoor practice on Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime.
