The J-Bugs have returned from a glorious ‘Grand Day Out’.
Miss Webber reported back on the action: “It was a glorious day to take the whole of J-Bugs down to Cuckmere Haven beach. The sun shone over us as we walked along the River Cuckmere towards the bay as students enthusiastically completed a beach litter treasure hunt on route.
“Once at the beach students got a taste of geography fieldwork, undertaking methods to measure wave velocity; an introduction to longshore drift; and the processes that shape our shorelines. Once the hard work was done we had great fun playing Cricket on the beach and finding crab shells.”
All in all a fantastic day out with some fantastic J-Bugs!
