Rehearsals are well under way for this year’s whole school production of Shakespeare in Love. Based on the 1998 romantic period comedy-drama film of the same name, the play depicts a fictional love affair between playwright William Shakespeare and Viola de Lesseps.

You are invited to watch the ultimate love story unfold as Shakespeare struggles to write his next masterpiece: Romeo and Ethel, the Pirate’s Daughter…

Trinity students cast in the lead roles include Anna Brovko as Viola (Gwyneth Paltrow in the film), Barney Sayburn as Shakespeare (Joseph Fiennes), Alexander Molony as Marlowe (Rupert Everett), Lucy Ma as Queen Elizabeth 1 (Dame Judi Dench), Ashvin Jeyanandhan as Ned Alleyn (Ben Affleck), Robert Wilding as Henslowe (Geoffrey Rush), Matteo Di Lorenzo as Burbage (Martin Clunes) and Noah Prestney as the dog (dog).

Performances take place in the Trinity Concert Hall from Thursday 8 December – Saturday 10 December and tickets are available to book now: https://www.trybooking.com/uk/events/landing/29260
