Sixth Form student, Zoë Wisniewski, is representing the United Kingdom in Italy next week at the semi-finals of the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) dance competition.
She has been spending some of her Saturday afternoons at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden with the Royal Ballet Company’s Ballet Mistress, Sian Murphy. Sian offered to choreograph Zoë’s Contemporary Ballet Solo and prepare her for the competition outside of her ten-hour-per-week, intensive training programme.
YAGP is the world’s largest global network of dance and fulfils its mission of dance education through auditions, masterclasses, alumni services, educational and outreach activities, performances and films. Its international ballet competition is a great opportunity for Zoë … we wish her the best of luck!
