We were pleased to celebrate the GCSE success of our Fifth Year students last week.

Although it was frustrating for many of them not to have the chance to actually take their exams, they have achieved a fantastic set of results collectively which are well deserved.  We look forward to having them back in school as they start Sixth Form life.

The Headmaster, Alasdair Kennedy, said: “In this strange and difficult year our students should be proud of this recognition of their hard work and ability.  They are terrific contributors to the life of our school community in a wide variety of ways, and there are so many examples of individuals who have also shown remarkable commitment to their academic work.  They can move to their A level studies with great confidence, and we look forward to seeing them playing a greater role in leading the school”.

Student, Joshua Albuquerque, said: I am absolutely thrilled to have achieved some brilliant results in my GCSEs. I would like to thank the caring and inspiring teachers at Trinity for all their support. I’m now eager to begin the next stage of learning and tackle new challenges head-on.”

Whilst Dameer Ahmed commented:I was over the moon when I received my results, it really gave me confidence to see I excelled in all the subjects I enjoyed. I plan on doing A level Physics, Further Maths, Maths and Computer Science, I am looking forward the next challenges. There is no doubt Trinity – the people and the environment – brought the best out of me”.

And Archie Pearson said: “I am extremely pleased with my results, which allows me to go forward into Sixth Form to study Business, Politics, English and PE. I am very grateful to the Trinity staff for helping me to achieve this”
