Congratulations to the 20 boys who made their debuts with the English National Opera in Robert Carsen’s famous production of Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The Trinity Boys’ Choir has a proud association not just with this opera, but with this production: it was first performed in the Aix-en-Provence Festival in 1991 with our Trinity boys providing the chorus of fairies and since then Trinity boys have performed this production at the London Coliseum on three occasions, at Aix-en-Provence on a further two occasions, and in Paris and Beijing.
