A group of Upper Sixth students recently represented Trinity in the British Biology Olympiad, bringing home one gold, three silver and three bronze awards.
The competition challenges and motivates biology students, allowing them to demonstrate their knowledge of a wide ranging syllabus.
This year over 9,000 students took part from from 727 schools across the world.
Congratulations to Owen Harries who won gold; Funmi Morgan, Lidia Toth and Joel Okolo-Hunter who won silver, and Esteban Kumar, Sarah Rogers and Michael Eagling who won bronze. In addition, Daniel-Paul Osahon was Highly Commended and Alexandra King was Commended.
Well done to all our students for putting their biology knowledge to the test in an extremely competitive environment.
