A group of our students spent four days playing squash at Hasta la Vista, an intensive squash camp in the heart of Wroclaw, during half term.
Fifth year student George Ogden said: “As well as training and playing grueling matches with the local players, we had a city tour, ate ice cream with the locals, tried traditional Polish food and went hunting for Wroclaws dwarfs (small figurines). All in all the trip was a fantastic success”.
Comments from other students included: “I’ve never played so much squash” and “It was great to be trained by someone who worked with world number one Mohamed El Shorbagy”.
One parent said: ” Alessandro thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the trip and feels he gained new skills from the excellent coaching. Playing on a tournament court was a definite highlight and he would relish the opportunity to return in the future!”
Mr Munday, Head of Second Year, said: “The boys worked fantastically hard for the sessions and they all benefited hugely from the quality of coaching”.
