This week, musicians from the Whitgift Foundation’s three schools came together for a celebratory concert at the newly refurbished Fairfield Halls.
This is the first musical collaboration for many years and it was wonderful to see our pupils mixing and making music with their peers at Whitgift and Old Palace.
The concert was enjoyed by a large audience and particular mention must be made of Amiri Harewood, who gave a brilliant performance of Grieg’s Piano Concerto, and to Ying Lo, who led the orchestra impressively in various pieces.
