This week our art department hosted an exhibition of art work from our staff and alumni.
Staff, along with their family and friends, joined us in our Shaw Gallery for a drinks reception and private viewing.
The exhibition was a combination of work including documentary film, large oil paintings, cast concrete objects, a performance of clay construction, photography and a constructed jacket with small lights stitched into the fabric.
It was wonderful to see such diverse work from our staff and recent leavers.
The exhibition was the first of its kind and hopefully the start of a long tradition of our staff continuing their professional practice, whilst also developing our relationships with our alumni.
We are already looking forward to next year and cannot wait to build on the connections we have with many of our alumni working in the creative industries.
