The final week before the half term break was another successful one for Trinity on the Rugby field, reports Mr Roberts, Head of Rugby:
“The 1st XV put in a strong showing against Newman College, winning 21-7 and progressing to the next round of the National Cup. There were some tough moments, however, led by another outstanding performance from Will Peart-Smith, Trinity came away the deserving winner.
“Meanwhile, the 3rd XV finished off an excellent half-term with a comfortable victory against Ewell Castle with Kai Patterson, Luca Basini, Joe Canning and Will Reeve picked out for excellent performances.
“And, finally, the U15As deserve recognition for the resilience they showed all term and for their outstanding performance at the Langley Festival. The highlight of which was a thrilling 12-10 victory over Hurst. Jared Thompson has led the team tremendously and Jacob King has consistently led from the front on the field.”
