Trinity’s Music Department recently recorded a music video which was sent to a variety of care and nursing homes locally.

Daksha Webb, mother of alumnus George Webb, liaised with the Music Department to arrange the video performances.

She explains: “I believe that the elderly have been most impacted by the pandemic. The idea of the video was to bring them some joy and cheer – especially at Christmastime. Trinity has always supported me with any community and fundraising ideas I put forward and the School helped me once again.

“I am most grateful to Mr Swinson, James Rowland and the students for preparing the video for me which I was able to deliver to some 60-plus care and nursing homes in the Croydon area,” she adds.

All the homes were very grateful to receive the video and they have asked on behalf of the residents to pass on their thanks, especially to the students.

“I am delighted that this video was produced and shared, and that our students could again be involved.  These connections to our local community are so important for our students and for the school,” says Trinity Headmaster, Alasdair Kennedy.
