Good luck to the U14A Basketball team, currently in the last eight of the National Cup and playing in the quarter final today!

The team has come through three tricky rounds already – including a first round win, scoring over 100 points and then defeating three-time national champions Bristol Metropolitan Academy in the Second round at home.

Coach, Mr O’Connor, says: “Our U14 team has worked tirelessly preparing themselves. Their high tempo and high energy defence ensures the boys are a force to be reckoned with and serious contenders. Accompanying our much-envied defence is a dangerous offence, providing serious scoring power. The team is confident ahead of the semi-final trip to HTS storm – excited to mix it with the big boys of England schools basketball once again!”

Players who have participated in the cup run are Matthew Oppong, Jayden Alabi, Thabo Ncube, Uzoma Anele, Theo Chapman, Joel Adu-Kwapong, Kaiden Watson, Ezekiel Asigo, Daniel Asanbe and Ollie Young. Well done to all!
