Third Year student Zain Lam has, once again, achieved some great results at two major swimming competitions this summer.
Zain recently qualified for the British Summer Championships in two events (100m breast and 50m fly) for the 13-14 age group category. He swam some great races and just missed being in the British final for the 50m fly by 0.01 seconds.
Zain also qualified for the Swim England National Summer Meet in the 50m breast, also in the in 13-14 age group category. He did amazingly well and just missed out on a medal by 0.05 seconds.
Off the back of these achievements during the summer, he has been recognised by Swim England and has been picked for the Swim England National Development Programme, also for the 13-14 age group category.
And finally, Zain has been selected to compete for the Surrey Team (top four boy swimmers in Surrey for his age group) at the forthcoming Swim England National County Team Championships to be held in October.
Well done Zain and good luck in the national championships!
